Steven Universe: Wanted special

So I just watched the four episode Wanted special for Steven Universe, and....  AAAaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa??????

Just some jumbled thoughts: I love Topaz and Topaz and I just really want them to be happy. REALLY wondering what really happened with Pink Diamond being shattered. Because um. Zircon kind of dropped a bomb there. Also: I HAVE A LOT OF LARS FEELINGS. WHAT GREAT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. And then OH MY GOD THEY WENT THERE. Not for long, BUT THEY WENT THERE. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT. Was also not expecting to find out how Lion was made and now Lars is like... a golem? Or something??? I DON'T EVEN KNOW. Also also: I love all the off colors. Especially Rhodonite who is adorable and Rutile is awesomely cool.

I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM.

ALSO: NEW EPISODES WHEN?? SOON PLEASE.

It was amazing; Lars Barriga is officially Strong In The Real Way; I cannot with all these feelings; I need to know exactly what went down with Pink Diamond... UGH. This show can't do this to me this often. It's not fair.

And Pearl's muttering and pacing and 'Hi, Steven' was just. Priceless.

Mostly, though, Lars. I have always adored him, which I know can be a super Unpopular Opinion among fans who see him as Sadie's abusive boyfriend, when he's neither abusive (he does take her for granted, but not to an abusive extent) nor her boyfriend, and anyway, I just. I felt so proud. Which... Is totally stupid, he's a fictional character, but that's how it is! XD

My brother got in right after the episode ended, so he got a greeting of, "LARS IS A LION; THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT.".

I kind of wish I was kidding.

Ohhhh man I have SO MANY LARS FEELINGS. he IS Strong in the Real Way. And... god, I just... everything about the ending. He's staying on Homeworld to keep the off colors safe, and they're gonna keep him safe and maybe they'll find a way to get to Earth or the Crystal Gems will find a way to get to Homeworld and save them?? And honestly Lars is pretty safe on Homeworld all things considered, since he doesn't have a gem and thus doesn't really exist in their eyes. Which helps, but only a little.

It's just. SHIT HAS GOTTEN SO REAL. I CANNOT HANDLE IT. AT ALL.

I'm inclined to guess that the Crystal Gems will manage to round them up, but who knows? Aaaa, I can't wait to see, though! I agree - new episodes had better come soon enough!

But yes! Oh man! Off colors sticking together is the sweetest thing! And it is the realist shit ever, oh God. I CANNOT HANDLE IT EITHER.

Aaaaaaa I'm just!!!! I think the Gems are going to find a way to get to Homeworld. Pearl said something about a dropship? So I guess we'll find out what that is soon enough. Just not next week or whatever apparently. >__

Yeah, I guess the dropship will be key in all this! HEY. YOU KNOW WHICH GEM IS GOOD AT FIXING TECH AND STUFF?

I mean, I'm just saying, let's get the barnmates in on this crazy mess!

Also, the look between Blue Pearl and Yellow Pearl when they mentioned Pink Diamond's Pearl? I've always assumed - at least, since Pearl revealed her spacesuit outfit, anyway - that that's our Pearl, so like. GAH. So many questions!

Yes, I would love to get Peridot and Lapis involved, though I don't see Lapis being too enthused about going back to Homeworld.

Also I legit thought our Pearl had something to do with Pink Diamond's shattering when Blue Zircon started in on her arguments. I don't even know. I feel like this is the big overarching mystery of the show at this point, but I have no idea how we're going to find out the truth, since the two main witnesses (Pink Diamond and Rose) are both kind of dead.

Good point on Lapis! I definitely want Peridot accompanying the gang, though - I'd love some reaction from her on realizing she played a part in the abductions. (I am cruel to my faves and enjoy them having guilt trips, I guess.)

Agreed! I thought that's where Blue Zircon was going... (Poor Blue Zircon, incidentally! So stressed!) It really is the Big Question of the show - just what happened - and I do have one theory, albeit not one I, myself, came up with.
