I said I'd post every day, so here I am.

Today was kind of okay. I crocheted on the scarf. I made half an afghan piece. I played a LOT of Stardew Valley. I went to the library and typed up what I've got on my short story, AND WROTE MORE WORDS. :D So I'm quite happy about that. Just checked my wordcount, and it's at 1500 words so far, which isn't half bad.

I didn't do everything I wanted, and that is okay. I need to figure out how to be okay with what I don't get done.

Anyway.

I'm having a great deal of fun in Stardew Valley, as usual. It's such a nice, relaxing game. I picked the forest farm map and I love it, even if there isn't a lot of room for farming right now. I'll have to get on the farm planner site and see what all I've got to work with as far as space goes. There may be a lot of tree clearing in my future. (And rock clearing, and weeding, and etc.) I also won the first year Egg Festival and got the straw hat! I'm not sure it looks that great on my character, but she's wearing it for now. It's a cute little game, and I'm enjoying getting back into it.

I feel you on the "it's hard to accept things as they are" front. Like everything else we've discussed lately, I think it's something that needs practice.

Stardew Valley sounds so cute, like it has that Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons vibe!

Yeah, getting to be okay with... everything is something I need to work on and practice at.

Stardew Valley was pretty directly inspired by HM/SOS, so.... :) You should try it sometime, if you've got the extra money to buy it; it's quite fun, and there's going to be a multiplayer implemented sometime next year, too!

I keep reading your posts and thinking, "Geez, I really need to get back into knitting." :) I sort of fell out of the habit once college started, and I'm beginning to miss it. There's such a sense of satisfaction to making something yourself.

Knitting is so nice. And there is definite joy and satisfaction in making something with your hands, yourself. I get that feeling the most from like making food, but it goes for pretty much anything crafty, too. :)

Oh, cool! Although right now it looks like it's only out for systems I don't have. Although... My fiancee and I will probably start working towards a PS4 once the actual necessities of our home and career stuff are set up in England. That'll be in over a year, but still!
